A day Building... A new team

Praise the Lord for Balangao team 2 who just arrived Manila and on their way to Natonin to start the 2nd phase of the Balangao Office Project. They all had a good trip to Manila aside from being late departing and arriving. One completely missed his flight from JFK to Beijing and on to Manila due to extreme weather in New York on Thursday April 28. He will be arriving Manila on Sunday early morning and catch up with the team on Monday May 2.

Over the last 10 years of doing short-term missions to the Philippines, the Lord has blessed us with wonderful contacts with fantastic skills used for the Lord. Most of these teams have been with me to the Philippines before and I’m just grateful to all of them for their willingness to take off from their busy schedule to help the Balangao people get a special place to do Old Testament translation in their heart language! You should hear some amazing stories the way God providing their funds to go.

Would you continue to pray for each of them – Elden, Isaac, Dave, John, Robert, and Robert V. Pray for their leader Bob and Linda – Bob will divide up the work among the 6 men – 2 welding the trusses, 2 doing the blocks and 2 doing whatever needs to be done. Remember – they will be putting up the block walls, building the columns, partition the offices, bathroom and then build a ring on top of columns and walls to put the trusses on – weld purlins and install roofing. There will be wiring as well, plumbing the bathroom and doing the kitchen stuff. Lots to be done in 10 days, so pray for great weather as well. Pray especially the weather will cooperate on May 12 as they try to fly out by helicopter and again on May 18.

Finally ….

“Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.” Psalm 119:89-92
